Especially find a crib that has an adjustable mattress base so that you can use it even after your baby is more than 12 months old. Weight is the next thing to consider. Keep in mind that you will need to carry your baby furniture here and there all the time. Light-weight plastic and wood and materials that are not easily broken or damaged are to be preferred.
